I have been working allot at my part-time job lately allot of people calling in sick or not showing up for work

Happy New Year 2014
So far so good this new year
Things at work have gotten better this year though I am working Wednesday to Wednesday shifts they have started to give me days off in a row. Some weeks been getting 4-5 days off straight which has left me time to start doing art again at a better pace.
I got new accessories for the computer this year for Christmas. I received some new logictech speakers and a new Cannon LiDE 210 scanner and some new headphones from my brother.
My goal this year is to try and be more consistent with my art and hoping I can with allot of time and effort make a full length animation which I always wanted to do since high school.
Been Delayed
a few day after my last journal I got a text message from my mom saying that my Step dad was in the hospital and that he had lung cancer.
Everyone even the doctors thought was ammonia chest infection since he had gotten the flu after coming back from hunting. He was on antibiotics since last November. He ended up passing away in his home surrounded by family last April. Since then just been me and my brothers helping my mom out.
I stopped doing art related stuff and multimedia since he had passed away since but I think I am ready to come back and start again.

Yearly update
Hey guys haven't been on a whole lot still been working a ton at my current job as night manager at the 24 hour grocery store. I'm starting to have days off now so I can start posting more stuff as well as a List based on animation research links.
Got talking with the hospital last July about working as a environmental service worker but they didn't need any at the time so the lady I was talking with suggested I go and apply as a porter. I got the interview at the hospital last July almost got in but there was allot of competition so I'm currently waiting on this one lady who works with my twin brother to see when the next hiring stage is.
Busy New Year
Been busy a ton working for 8 or sometimes 9 days straight at my job doing graveyard shifts to pay the bills. At most of what I can do with the time I have is draw on my lunch and breaks but other than that I tired and groggy all the time.
I've applied to work as a Environmental Service worker at the hospital which should be better there will be night shift but at least I'll be paid well for 1 job than doing 5 at my current job and getting significantly less. This will allow me to be more active and have allot more spare time to be on deviant art making tutorials and my own stuff as well.
Saving up for a New computer just a few more paydays
